These terms are the agreement between you and ScoutBridge when you use our service. We have tried to write them the way we run the company: plainly, and without surprises. By creating an account or using ScoutBridge, you agree to what follows. If you do not agree, please don’t use the service.
What ScoutBridge does
ScoutBridge is a recruiting service for high-school athletes. For a flat monthly fee, we give each athlete a dedicated recruiting address on our mail domain and a real person who manages their outreach to college programs, sending profiles, film, schedules, and follow-ups to appropriate coaches, and bringing the replies back to the family in one place. Both the parent and the athlete can read the full inbox at any time.
We help athletes get in front of college coaches. We do not promise a result. No recruiting service can guarantee interest, offers, scholarships, or admission, and any service that does should worry you. Recruiting outcomes depend on many things outside anyone’s control, including the athlete’s performance and academics and each program’s needs. Consistent with NCAA and NAIA rules, our price is a flat fee for our work and is never tied to any recruiting outcome, scholarship, or offer.
Who may sign up
A ScoutBridge account is created and controlled by a parent or legal guardian on behalf of their athlete. The parent must be at least 18 and must have the authority to agree to these terms for the athlete. The parent is responsible for the account, including the subscription and everything done under it. The athlete receives their own login to view their dashboard and inbox and to maintain their profile. Both the parent and the athlete provide consent at signup before any outreach begins, as described in our Privacy Policy.
The recruiting mailbox
The recruiting address we provide is a working, monitored mailbox operated by ScoutBridge staff and fully visible to the parent and athlete. It exists to run recruiting outreach. It is not a private personal email account, and it should not be used for confidential or unrelated correspondence. You agree to use it, and the service generally, honestly: the athlete’s profile, film, transcripts, and other materials must be accurate and must belong to the athlete. We may pause or end the service if information is falsified or the service is misused.
Price, billing, and cancellation
ScoutBridge is one flat monthly price, published on our website. The current price is $99 per month. There are no multi-year contracts, no up-front lump sums, and no pricing that is revealed only on a sales call.
- Billing. The subscription is billed monthly to the payment method on file through our payment processor, Stripe, starting when you complete signup and then on the same date each month until you cancel. Applicable taxes may be added.
- Cancellation. You can cancel anytime from your billing settings, or by emailing us. When you cancel, your subscription stays active through the end of the monthly period you have already paid for, and it does not renew after that. We do not lock you into a season or a year.
- Refunds. Because the service is month-to-month and you can cancel at any time, we generally do not provide partial refunds for a month already begun. If something went wrong on our end, contact us and we will make it right.
- Price changes. If we change the published price, we will give existing families reasonable advance notice before it applies to their subscription, and the price in effect when you were billed governs that month.
When a subscription ends, we stop sending outreach on the athlete’s behalf. Your records are handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
Your content
The athlete’s profile, film, schedules, transcripts, and other materials remain yours. By using ScoutBridge, you give us permission to use those materials for the purpose of running recruiting outreach on the athlete’s behalf, for example to share a profile and film with the coaches we contact. You confirm that you have the right to share what you provide and that it does not violate anyone else’s rights.
Acceptable use
Please use ScoutBridge lawfully and in good faith. Don’t attempt to break, probe, or overload the service; don’t use it to send spam, harassment, or misleading information to coaches; and don’t use it to impersonate someone or to submit information that isn’t truthful. Misuse of the coach directory or the mailbox may result in suspension.
Service availability
We work to keep ScoutBridge running reliably, but we provide the service “as is” and cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update, improve, or occasionally take the service offline for maintenance.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, ScoutBridge is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for recruiting outcomes. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. Some places do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service grows. If we make a material change, we will update this page and, where appropriate, notify families directly. Continuing to use ScoutBridge after a change means you accept the updated terms.
