Answers to what families ask about ScoutBridge.
The questions families ask most, about the service, staying in control as a parent, what it costs, and how the flat fee stays within recruiting rules.
How the service works
What ScoutBridge does, who sends the outreach, and how fast it starts. This is where most families begin.
Is ScoutBridge a recruiting service or software?
It is a service. A real person manages your athlete's outreach to college coaches for you. You get a dedicated recruiting address and full visibility into every message.
Who actually emails the coaches?
A real person at ScoutBridge writes and sends the outreach and handles the follow-ups. Everything they send appears in your shared inbox, and you or your athlete can reply directly in any thread.
How does ScoutBridge decide which programs to contact?
We build a target list from your athlete's level, position, academics, and goals. Outreach goes only to programs that fit, and you can add programs you want contacted or ask us to hold back.
What sports and levels do you cover?
We run outreach across ten sports and every level from Division I to junior college. The right programs for an athlete exist at every level, and we contact them wherever they are.
How soon does outreach start after we sign up?
The recruiting mailbox is set up right after signup and the first target list is built in the first week. First outreach usually goes out that same week, and you can watch each message land in the portal.
For parents
What parents can read, the two logins, how consent works, and what happens with your data.
Can parents read everything?
Yes. Every message we send and every reply a coach sends back lands in one shared inbox that you and your athlete can read in full, any time. There is no separate channel we keep to ourselves.
Do the parent and athlete both get a login?
Yes, and both are included. The parent creates and controls the account, and the athlete gets their own login to see their dashboard and inbox and to keep their profile current.
How does consent work?
We collect consent from the parent and from the athlete, separately, at signup. The parent approves the service and the monitored mailbox, and the athlete signs their own name. No outreach goes out until both consents are on file.
What about athletes under 13?
For athletes under 13, ScoutBridge follows the verifiable-parental-consent standard in the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). A parent creates and controls the account.
What do you do with our data?
Your athlete's information is used to run their recruiting outreach and nothing else. We do not sell it and we do not run ads on it. Your data stays yours.
Pricing and billing
What the service costs, how billing runs month to month, and how to add an athlete or cancel.
$99
A month, flat. Cancel anytime.
How much does ScoutBridge cost?
ScoutBridge is one flat price of $99 per month, published on the website. It covers a dedicated recruiting address and a real person managing the outreach, with no upsell or add-on tier.
Is there a contract?
No. There is no multi-year contract and no up-front lump sum. The service is month to month, so you are never locked into a season or a year.
How do I cancel?
You can cancel anytime from your billing settings or by emailing us. Your subscription stays active through the end of the month you already paid for and does not renew after that.
Do you offer refunds?
Because the service is month to month and you can cancel at any time, we generally do not provide partial refunds for a month already begun. If something went wrong on our end, contact us and we will make it right.
Can I add another athlete?
Yes. Families can add another athlete from the portal at any time. Each athlete is its own subscription at the same flat monthly price, with their own recruiting address and outreach.
Rules and eligibility
How the flat fee stays within NCAA and NAIA rules, when coaches may first make contact, and what affects eligibility.
Is a paid recruiting service allowed under NCAA rules?
ScoutBridge charges one flat monthly fee, and the price is never tied to an offer, a scholarship, or any recruiting outcome, which keeps the service consistent with NCAA and NAIA rules on recruiting and scouting services.
Is the fee ever tied to a scholarship or offer?
No. The fee is a flat monthly price and does not change based on whether your athlete receives interest, an offer, or a scholarship. That is a deliberate part of how the service is built.
When can college coaches first contact my athlete?
It depends on the sport, and for most Division I sports coaches may begin recruiting communication on June 15 after sophomore year, while some sports open on September 1 of junior year. Rules change, so confirm the current NCAA calendar for your sport.
Does ScoutBridge guarantee a scholarship or an offer?
No. No service can promise a scholarship or an offer, and tying a fee to one would break recruiting service rules. What we do is get your athlete in front of the right coaches with the film and information they ask for, then follow up on time.
Does using ScoutBridge affect my athlete's eligibility?
Using a flat-fee outreach service that is not tied to an outcome is consistent with the rules on recruiting and scouting services. Eligibility itself is determined by the NCAA, NAIA, or NJCAA based on academics and amateurism, which are separate from outreach.
