How it works

A real person runs your athlete’s recruiting outreach.

ScoutBridge gives your athlete a dedicated recruiting address and someone on our team who contacts college coaches for you. There are four steps, and after signup most of the work is ours.

What happens, step by step

Each step shows the split of work between your family and ScoutBridge, and what you can read in the portal along the way.

  1. Step 01

    Sign up together

The athlete and a parent register side by side and approve the service in plain language before any email is sent.

    Your family
A parent creates the account and the athlete signs on beside them. You both approve the service and the recruiting mailbox in plain language before anything is sent.
    ScoutBridge
We confirm the account, set up the athlete profile, and get the recruiting mailbox ready.
    In the portal
Your consents, saved with the version and date, and a profile you can edit any time.
  2. Step 02

    Claim the recruiting address

The athlete gets a dedicated recruiting email address on our domain that carries every coach conversation in one place.

    Your family
Add film links, a schedule, and academic details to the profile. You never have to write an email.
    ScoutBridge
We set up a dedicated recruiting address on our domain, and every message and reply lands in that one mailbox you can read in full.
    In the portal
The recruiting inbox, with each program in its own thread and a live status on every message.
  3. Step 03

    We run the outreach

A real person sends the athlete's profile, film, schedules, and follow-ups to programs that fit, at the pace coaches actually read their mail.

    Your family
Keep film and schedules current and tell us about new results. That is the whole job on your side.
    ScoutBridge
Someone on our team builds the target list, writes and sends the outreach, and follows up after tournaments and updates.
    In the portal
Every program contacted, what was sent, when it was opened, and each reply as it lands.
  4. Step 04

    Follow along anytime

Opens, replies, and next steps live in one place, so families see a coach's reply the same hour ScoutBridge does.

    Your family
Read the inbox whenever you like and reply in your own words when you want to.
    ScoutBridge
We keep the conversations moving, hand off warm replies, and plan the next week with you.
    In the portal
A weekly plan, the full message history, and the next actions for your athlete.

Week one

The first week gets your athlete in front of coaches

Week one is about a fast, organized start. The mailbox goes live, the first target list is built, and outreach begins, with a short plan so you always know what is happening.

What we send to coaches

Coaches decide from a short set of things they can act on. We send those and keep them current as the season moves.

  • Sent first

    The athlete profile

Position, class year, height, academics, and the summary a coach reads first.

  • Sent on request

    Film links

Highlight and full-game links the coach can open right away.

  • Kept current

    Schedules

Season and showcase schedules so a coach can plan to watch.

  • As the season moves

    Game updates

New results and standout performances coaches can act on.

  • When it changes

    Academic updates

Updated GPA and test information a coach needs on file.

  • After events

    Tournament follow-ups

A timely note after events a coach could attend or review.

Questions about how it works

The questions families ask most about how the service runs.

Do parents have to write any emails?

No. A real person at ScoutBridge writes and sends the outreach and handles follow-ups. Your job is to keep film, schedules, and results current. You can read every message and reply in your own words whenever you want to.

How fast does outreach start after we sign up?

The recruiting mailbox is set up right after signup and the first target list is built in the first week. First outreach usually goes out that same week, and you can watch each message land in the portal.

Who decides which programs get contacted?

We build a target list from your athlete's level, position, academics, and goals, and you can tell us programs you want added or held back. Outreach goes only to programs that fit your athlete.

Can our athlete take over a conversation with a coach?

Yes. The mailbox belongs to your family. When a coach replies, you and your athlete can jump into the thread and answer directly, and we keep supporting the rest of the outreach.
